Villa Arimbi is a truly estate garden home for lovers of Balinese architecture and tropical garden atmosphere. It's located in prestigious Sanur neighborhood on the southern tip of Bali, close to the historic Blanjong area of Sanur 5 minutes walking from the beach and local attractions.

The villa offers five pavilions set with alang-alang roofed, and a modernized Lumbung a rice barn, surrounding a central lotus and water lily pond, a swimming pool and Jacuzzi spread graciously in a tropical garden designs by the landscape architect Made Wijaya famous for its creation as the David Bowie house in Mystique West Indies.

Choose from five themed bedrooms, an attention to details runs throughout the villa. Villa Arimbi named after a mythical figure in the puppet wayang theatre has been lovingly fully renovated in 2010 to become a luxury rental home, full of charm where the old and authentic Bali blends the 21th century comfort and contemporary elegance.

The owners are pride in the authenticity and beauty of our home away. It was part of Taman Mertasari estate. This fabulous garden compound has been created in the '80 by several friends' lovers of Balinese people and culture, and more especially by an artist Brent Hesselyn, a pioneer in Bali. At that time Taman Metarsari was the place to be. The wish of the owners was to keep the spirit and the ethnic charm of this old colonial style estate, while bringing some chic laughter and a touch of contemporary elegance. No detail has been overlooked and great care has been taken during renovation done the ten first months of 2010.

Discover a large compound: 1600 m2 of privacy and exclusivity shaded by huge coconuts trees in a tropical surrounding. The design of Villa Arimbi Sanur is based on the traditional Balinese architectural: a concept where the garden is the focal point of Balinese living and the different pavilions are laid around in separates style alang-alang roof bungalows according to its function. The estate has six separate pavilions for open thatched living spaces and intimate sleeping pavilions.

The several living spots allow each one both privacy and space to relax, or mix to enjoy the company of others.

Bale & Pond
Water is the predominant feature in this villa. The peaceful centerpiece of the garden is the bale, a relaxation pavilion surrounded by a lotus and water lily fishpond amidst scented frangipanis Water cooled breezes bring natural air conditioning into its confines.

Living & dining pavilion
A colonial style fan cooled space verandah which take the scents views and sounds of the surrounding tropical garden.

Lounge & Gazebo
An exquisite open-air living area for a lazy afternoon cocktail, with a corner dedicated to TV and music.

Pool Jacuzzi deck & poolside bale
A wooden deck for a large private plunge pool and a cozy informal area with its white palimanan wall plus a very original Jacuzzi set among lotus and lilies.

Villa Arimbi boasts three Sleeping Pavilions that can sleep up to a total of 10 guests in five distinctive bedrooms. In addition an adjacent small room and the Lumbung can sleep up to 3 kids or teenagers. Each room and bathrooms is designed in a uniquely different style has its own distinct character and charm and agrees with people who care about personalized details. Each bedroom contains king keen or two single beds with mosquito net canopies.

They have been designed with luxury furnishings, plush pillow - top mattresses, fine linen, large wardrobes, safety boxes and are all provided with air conditioning, and fans in the uppers rooms. They are equipped with a safe deposit box, flat screen TV and DVD player on request, and iPod music player. They are completed with six bathrooms in harmony with the theme of each bedroom.

Orient Express
A unique relax refinement ambiance of train travel harks back to a colonial age of Asia. Warm atmosphere of wood, antique Chinese furniture, old Balinese photographs, a leather straps trunk suitcase, teak staircase, beautiful old fashion windows on three sides with insects screen, create a nostalgic atmosphere, and recalls a romantic era of travel.

This large master room is spread on the first floor of the Temple Sleeping Pavilion together with an elegant en-suite bathroom and an open to the sky natural stones two persons shower: one for you Madam and the other for you Sir. Imagine you wake up in a floating bed in the middle of coconut trees, a magic experience!
